Brand: |
made by Johs. Stubben, Krefeld, Germany |
Model: |
IMPERATOR |
Color: |
black and brown, fading color |
Type: |
VSD, all purpose, emphasis dressage |
Seat size: |
about 17,5 inches (measured from the knob beside the pommel back to the middle of the cantle). |
Tree size: |
29,5 (medium for higher whithers, imprinted in the right small flap). |
Condition of saddle: |
Older saddle that has been used a lot. So it has a lot of signs and little flaws! The saddle is stil o.k. as it is and does not need a repair for its use.
But it is no beauty. Some stitches are worn on edges, especially on the flaps, but they do not need to be restitched. |
Leather condition: |
Good condition for the age, but a lot of signs of use. The saddle has a well done leather patch on the downside, see on the pictures. On the other side the leather is a bit dry and cracky, but will probably stay o.k. for much longer.
If not, it could be reapaired with a patch like on the other side. |
Tree: |
has like all Stubben saddles the flexible steel spring tree, good and sound |
Billets: |
three on each good used condition |
Pannels: |
a bit firmly flocked |
Damages: |
usual signs of use for the age (like superficial scratches and cracks).
I think the condition is shown well on the pictures. Good leather saddle, but no beauty. |
