If You have any questions please contact us. If You call please remember that we are ahead 6h to Eastern and 9h to Pacific Time.
Our names are Angelika Licht and Salim Beg, we are 41 and 46 years old and own a tack shop and a vet practice. We live near Munich in Germany. We have four horses and one dog, an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix (from a Californian dog shelter).
We also ride and collect old Western saddles, please take a look our Saddle Museum.
So if You have a nice saddle to sell or trade please let us know.
We always try to describe the saddles as well as possible (we are no experts but have some experience with the different models and conditions already). We have a digital camera so if You like any other pictures from other angles please ask. Please understand that all sales are final. We do not take a saddle back because it does not fit You or Your horse. It is a long way to the United States and back and shipping is expensive. If You want to try a saddle before You buy it please look in Your surroundings. Our prices are not very high. It is possible that You could make some money if You resell a saddle that You do not want to keep.
We send the saddles by regular postal service. That is the most inexpensive way. Other companies like UPS are a lot more expensive. Up to now no saddle was lost, but it can happen that the shipping takes longer than 10 to 14 days for normal (slow) and 7 to 8 days for fast shipping. Slow shipping costs 60 US $ including insurance, fast shipping double price including insurance. We pack our saddles as well as possible to prevent any damage on the long way to You. Also we insure the package against loss and damage.
We accept paypal (www.paypal.com), cheque payments or transfers to our account.
For the use of Paypal we charge an extra 3% on the total amount (including shipping) because of the very high paypal fees. Cheques wait about 10 days for clearing.
The saddles and other tack we sell is mostly used and preowned. We check the items for their safety as far as we can and try to describe any damages but we cannot foresee what will happen in the future to these goods.
We do not take any liability (as far as we can exclude it by law) for the goods we are selling or for people who could come to harm by the use of these items.
